The Digital Humanities Research Institute (DHRI) South Bend is a core skills training workshop for faculty, staff, graduate students, undergraduate students of Michiana and the broader region. The University of Notre Dame and Saint Mary’s College originally collaborated on the institute, based on a model developed by CUNY. That first institute, delivered in 2019 over five days, was generously supported by both local institutions, as well as by Indiana Humanities, and included participants and instructors from eight institutions besides ND and SMC.
